Patented Made in Algeria
PRX 1 · Myoelectric platform

The first smart prosthesis engineered in Algeria.

PRX 1 reads your muscles through the skin, no surgery needed, and turns intention into motion. Patented, AI-driven, and built to cost a fraction of imported bionics.

01 / Grip

One intention. Five fingers.

On-board AI recognizes the grip you mean and drives each finger to match it.

02 / Sense

It reads intent through the skin.

Surface EMG electrodes capture muscle signals, with no implants and no surgery, while fingertip sensors feel pressure back.

03 / Build

Every part has an address here.

Designed, machined and assembled in Algeria, so fitting, repairs and parts never cross a border.

Engineered to be opened.

A prosthesis you can service, upgrade and afford: patented in Algeria, priced for it.

Access

Bionic hands shouldn't cost a house.

Imported myoelectric prostheses cost tens of thousands of dollars, before shipping, fitting, and repairs abroad. PRX 1 is engineered and produced in Algeria to change that equation.

Local production
Designed, built and assembled in Algeria, no import markups.
Local fitting & repairs
Serviced where you live, not shipped abroad for months.
Smart, not luxury-priced
The core features of high-end bionics, without the high-end invoice.

A first for Algeria

Built here. Patented here.

Prosthetix started in 2023 with two engineers, self-funded, and one conviction: Algerians who lose a limb shouldn't have to wait on imports they can't afford.

Three years of research later, PRX 1 is a patented reality: the first smart prosthesis developed on Algerian soil, from its EMG sensors to its AI.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

No. PRX 1 uses surface EMG electrodes that rest on the skin inside the socket. They read muscle activity through the skin. Nothing is implanted.

When you flex your residual muscles, the sensors capture the electrical signal, AI filters the noise and recognizes the pattern, and the hand executes the intended grip. Pressure sensors and haptic cues close the loop.

Adults with upper-limb amputation. Exact eligibility (amputation level, residual muscle activity) is confirmed during a pilot fitting session.

PRX 1 is under active development. Pilot fittings come next, then certification and production. Waitlist members are contacted first.

Final pricing will be announced at launch. PRX 1 is designed from day one to cost a fraction of imported smart prostheses.
